Calm enriching care for your pets!
Pet care experience
I practice calm positivity at all levels of care. It is important to me to provide an attentive and mindful presence to meet your animal(s) where they are. I really enjoy facilitating and adding value to their everyday lives! I am comfortable administering medication and bathing pets.
Reviews
Anna is truly the best. She is so attentive and communicative, and you know that she really enjoys caring for your pets as well as truly really cares for their well being. We’ve booked her several times now and every time we’re impressed and so incredibly grateful. Thank you Anna!!
Anna was great! Super responsive, left detailed reports and lots of pictures on their visits which I really appreciated! I am a first time rover user and Anna was kind enough to explain exactly what to expect during the visits with my cat. Will definitely book again!
Anna is the best! She's watched our two cats three times now. One of our trips was a week-long stay across the country, and we had such peace of mind with Anna holding down the fort at home. She is great at communicating and has always given us detailed notes (and lots of cute photos) from her visits. One of our cats is a fussy senior who needs several medications, and Anna has been a huge help with developing tips and tricks for our ever-evolving daily meds routine.
Thank you so much for taking care of our precious fur children! As always you’re incredibly attentive to all of them and they clearly love you! We really appreciate your flexibility in helping give our little bunny Ella her antibiotics and getting more greens so they didn’t run out before we got back. You make it so stress free when we have to leave home and it’s so nice to hear that our little cast of characters are doing well while we’re gone.

Safety, trust & environment
I am courteous and kind in your home and appreciate boundaries that keep you, me, and your pet(s) safe. I transport animals for hikes, vet appointments, etc as needed.
Information ANNA W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know ahead of time any health needs. Also let me know any triggers your animal has or any safety concerns. For doggos: I sometimes use a client’s kibble or treats(if practicing recall or other more high value skills)- so let me know if you are uncomfortable with that or if your dog has a specific diet.
A typical day
I build trust with clients (your animal) by respecting their individual boundaries and offering activities and interaction at their level. For doggos: Every interaction includes individual or interactive play, dog’s choice walking (“sniffaris”), structured walking(loose leash, heeling), city skills (stopping at crosswalks, either interacting with dogs/humans or Not, depending on the client), and settling/resting (practicing calm behavior in a designated place during the outIng). Sometimes I do these things in the house or in the yard if the client has a higher level of sensitivity or reactivity.

Availability
I offer discounts to clients who live very close to my home- please reach out if that is you! I am available for walks and drop-ins from 8 am on weekdays and 9 am on weekends. I work in a laboratory where I make my own hours, so I can typically accommodate client requests, given a few days notice. Weekends are scheduled in a very fluid manner, as I find clients’ needs fluctuate a great deal during those times. Exceptions are always possible—Please reach out with questions! My profile shows that I canceled 4 bookings at the last minute. This was due to a death in the family. I lined up a fantastic substitute for my clients, and had positive outcome and feedback.
