I grew up with at least one dog in the household. I have always had a fondness for animals in passing as a kid and a desire to help animals when I grew up. I made it part of the way there, but life events got in the way and I had to put that dream on hold. Up to that point, I have had 3 years of experience in the veterinary field, job shadowed for 2 day clinics, worked at an emergency clinic, and did an internship at another day clinic. I am able to remain calm if an emergency situation were to arise. Currently, I live with a roommate that does not contribute to rent or pay any bills but stays at home almost all the time. Her name is Lily and we've been together since she was a puppy, going to 14 years this November. I keep a timely routine for her day, feeding and going to the bathroom at consistent times with some sprinkles of walking around during the day. She is fully up to date with her vaccinations and if she were to come in contact with your pet, she keeps to herself and very slowly, not quite 100%, warms up to them.
