Pet care experience
I grew up having both dogs and cats around, and own a beautiful 6 year old Lynx Point Siamese girl named Ember. I even worked in doggy daycare and training for 6 years so I'm familiar and comfortable with all sorts of breeds, needs, and behaviors.

When I'm trusted with someone's pet I know I am holding a piece of their heart and I do not take that lightly. I make sure I fully understand any issues the pet might have, and any specific safety or comfort measures the owners use. If I am on a walk with a pet, I prefer to have a second safety slip leash attached as a backup in case the dog should slip their collar.

A typical day
I would look to the owner for walking spots, or just explore the neighborhood. I would ask if the owner wants me to go to a dog park or interact with other dogs or not and plan accordingly. Also I love encouraging dogs to sniff and explore to keep their minds stimulated.

I work full time, but would love to fill my weekends and evenings with visits, walks, and snuggles galore! I love being able to give an owner peace of mind when they leave, knowing that I'll care for and love their animal as much as my own.
