Pet care experience
I was fortunate to always have dogs growing up and have had the opportunity to petsit many dogs as well so I am very comfortable with all breeds and sizes. My most recent employment was as the veterinary assistant in Valdez, where I learned so much more and became even more comfortable handling all kinds of dogs and other pets. I have two dogs of my own & know how stressful it can be trying to find the "right" person to care for them while being gone. Therefore, I take a lot of pride in providing the best care possible for others pets & in making sure the owners know their furbabies are happy while they are away. I have never met a dog I didn't like & would love to meet yours!

Anna is great! I come home to a happy dog and feel at ease knowing that Reka is getting lots of love and attention while I'm gone, including fun play time with Anna's dogs. My dog is usually nervous around new people but she seemed instantly at ease with Anna when they met and seems very content when I get back. When a last minute work trip took me away for much longer than I had planned, Anna was very flexible and accomodating and she completely saved the day for me, and Reka. She clearly cares about dogs and is also very pleasant to interact with. Reka and I are very happy that we found Anna.
Anna was wonderful! We came home to a happy dog and a well looked after home. I will definitely ask her to watch Bailey again and would highly recommend her to someone looking for a good dog sitter.
Anna is amazing! I highly highly recommend her! Extremely reliable and responsible. I have a small hobby farm, and Anna was able to care for my dogs, my chickens, my ducks, my goats, and my horses! Would not hesitate for a second to have her watch my babies again!
Anna has watched our dog (and children!) multiple times. She's reliable, kind, and works hard. Anna is someone who goes above and beyond the basic duties required and has frequently suprised me with her thoughtfulness and attention to detail. You won't regret hiring her.

A typical day
When I lived in Valdez I loved taking my dogs for walks and hikes - somewhere quiet and in nature. I am still learning the best places to take them in Anchorage; we often go to the University Lake dog park. For drop-in visits I would likely find a nearby park to walk in, or go around the neighborhood if appropriate. I would also be open to suggestions from the owners about where they typically walk their dogs.
