Pet care experience
I have always loved animals and dogs in particular. The older I got the more present dogs have become in my life and I enjoy their company so much. My parents and my sister have a dog each, who I absolutely adore and try to spend as much time with them as possible. I have to say hi to every dog I see on the streets and my heart gets warm when I see a wiggly tail. In July 2022 I started volunteering for a local small animal shelter. It is a lot of responsibility. All those dogs have big place in my heart and I think about them all the time. Therefore I think about dog care, training and behavior a lot. Working at the animal shelter gives me a chance to meet all kinds of breeds and different characters and age groups. Unfortunately I don't have my own dogs (yet), because they don't fit my travel-lifestyle. However, I think about owning a dog every single day. I will channel all this energy of love into your dog :)

Anna provided dog sitting services while we were on vacation. She took very good care of our boy.
We engaged Anna to watch our 5 month old puppy for several hours at our vacation home. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to watch our “baby” while we went on a Pictured Rocks cruise! Anna and Marley hit it off immediately. She asks all the right questions and takes great care to honor our requests. As believers in positive training, it gave us great peace of mind to know that Marley was in the very best and capable hands.
Anna was fantastic to deal with and clearly loves animals. She was flexible, and willing to pop by our house to feed our dogs and let them out for a potty break while we were away for a night. She kept in good contact and sent us plenty of pictures, we were relieved to know they were in good hands! Definitely recommend her if you want someone to check in on your pets while your away! :)
Not only am I a volunteer with Anna at our local animal shelter where she cares for numerous animals at one time, but we have also become very close friends in the process. I’ve trusted Anna to watch my 2 rescue doggos in my home many times, and there isn’t anyone I’d rather have do it. As most people are, I’m extremely picky about how my dogs are cared for and due to their difficult backgrounds, they aren’t the easiest to care for, but Anna always ensures they both get the individual care and attention that they need. I know that when she’s caring for my dogs, as well as any animals in the animal shelter, they’re under the best supervision possible. She has the biggest heart imaginable, such a soft spot for all animals, and she’s always grateful to spend 1:1 time with other people’s pets since she isn’t able to have any of her own yet. Anna is extremely responsible and wants all the animals around her to live their best lives. On top of her weekly scheduled animal shelter shifts, she also manages to find time to take the doggos out for “field trips” during the week so they can see life outside of the animal shelter. There just aren’t enough words to express how loving she is and the length she will go for any animal. You can enjoy your time away from home knowing your pets are safe and in loving hands.

Unfortunately I can't have dogs in my apartment since my landlord is very strict about that. When I care for your dog in your house I will follow all the rules and guidelines you provide for me. I will respect your wishes. The most important thing for me is that your pupper is safe. I know that it is a big responsibility. When I was 19 yo I was an Au Pair (Nanny) for 1 year, caring for 2 small children (4 and 7 yo). I lived with the family. I am telling you this because even from young age I was responsible and respectful, and now that I am older, I am more aware of those things than ever.

I would like to know as much as possible about your dog before I care for it. What do I need to watch for, is it a runner, is there things it doesn't like, commands used, behavior around other dogs, prey drive, medication, feeding time, etc....
A typical day
I would say it depends on the dog. I am an active person myself who loves to go for walks and runs. I am happy to take the dog with me. I know that a lot of dogs like toys and I am happy to play with them. While some can chase after a ball for hours, some might just enjoy cuddles. I am up for it :)
