I grew up with a very large (125 pounds!) golden retriever and he made me fall in love with dogs and caring for dogs. My family also rescued a stray dog and provided her with a loving, caring forever home. Throughout college and grad school I dog sat for neighbors nearby and through Rover, treating their dogs as my own. I have experience with both large and small dogs, and I enjoy taking the dogs for longer walks around the city when appropriate. Sadly, my current apartment doesn’t allows dogs (despite my relentless urging) so I cannot currently have a dog of my own! I think that Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to spend time caring for dogs during my spare time after work.
