Pet care experience
I have had cats my whole life, that would be 20 years. My childhood cat lived to be 19 and I currently have a 9 year old big boy cat! I have also fostered kittens for over three years starting at the age of three weeks so I know how to bottle/syringe feed as well as give medicine. Along with fostering I have pet sat for over 6 years. Since starting Rover I have had many people come back to me asking if I can pet sit for them again.

Anna checked in on my two cats over Christmas and was so attentive and accommodating during a very busy time of year! She sent pictures every day and was great about staying in communication with me during my trip.

Important information for me to know about an animal ahead of time would be their age and weight as well as any medical issues so I know what I'm dealing with. It would also be fun to know the breed and personality or any of their favorite things.
A typical day
When it comes to dogs I would take them on walks, to their favorite spot if I can and know what it is. I would also play with them with their favorite toys and give them lots of pets. When it comes to cats I would play with them as much as they want as well as give as many snuggles as needed.

Availability
For the summer (May-July 2024) I have pretty much completely open availability as Rover will be my only job! I am able to pet sit at whatever time is convenient for you whether it is early morning or late evening or anything in between. I love being able to see furry animals throughout my day and can't wait for you to book with me! NOTE: I am currently not in Chapel Hill because of school, I will be back mid May (around the 12th). Due to this I cannot do any in person meet and greets until I am back in Chapel Hill. I am happy to do an online call of any kind before I get back to Chapel Hill (as well as an in person meeting after if wanted).
