Neighbors, family and friends have trusted me with their pets for over 10 years. I have experience giving medications, including insulin, and am comfortable doing so. I have cared for dogs of many breeds, ages and energies. I have welcomed dogs into my home for overnight stays as well as stayed with them at their homes overnight. I have had 9 dogs throughout my life and I love to meet new furry friends along the way!

I live in an apartment complex that has a fenced in dog park that is accessible 24/7. My complex is large enough for nice walks as well. I like to go on walks in public, along the river or soccer fields. I like to play fetch and tug of war with my pets, offering treats and affection. I like to snuggle with my pets so my furniture is open to my pets as well. I have my own private balcony with a tall enough railing that allows my pets to stay outside to enjoy fresh air and the scenery while I am inside. I do not have my own crate available in my home, if needed.

I feel most successful with others pets when I am made aware of any special routines or concerning behaviors. I prefer dogs that are good with other dogs, or at least friendly in passing. I want to ensure that any playdates or introductions are to go safely for both the pets and people involved.
A typical day
I like my pet friends to help keep me active as well so we will go for walks, play fetch and with other toys! I like to go for walks around my complex, public walks weather permitting. I like to stimulate my pets with snuffle mats and hide and seek with treats. Pets will get plenty of rubs and scratches... and brushings if asked!

Availability
I will be starting a new full time job sometime early May, but the position will be largely remote allowing me to still spend time with pets throughout the day. Availability for check ins & walks will vary once I know my typical work schedule. Weekend availability will vary.
