While I’m new to Rover I have been a professional ranch sitter and stable hand for over 30 years. I have taken care of animals of many kinds since I was in high school. I'm certified through the United States Pony Club for horsemanship, have 4H experience with birds and goats and am knowledge in first aid care. I have bred and have experience with reptiles and small exotic pets. I have worked as a foster home for special needs rescue animals and I"m always learning. Let me provide mature expert care for your pets including older/special needs, exotic pets, and livestock. Emergency and fire evacuation planning during fire seasons for our area is a requirement to ensure I can execute your plan and am the right fit for your needs.

We loved Anna! Our dogs were well cared for while we were away. Anna kept us updated on how they were and was just a pleasure to connect with. Her home was the perfect setting for our dogs to be loved and protected while we were away.
Anna was wonderful to work with and great with our dogs! We have one that can be touchy but she was unfazed by her and Anna did an excellent job. I got updates and photos and felt very secure with her staying in our home. I highly recommend Anna!!

Anna did a wonderful with my dogs. She went above and beyond by help with a few household chores. I highly recommend her to take care of your animals.
Anna house sits for me quite often. I have dogs and horses and a cat. She is wonderful with all of them. She doesn’t just feed and leave in the morning. She stays with dogs almost all day and makes sure everyone is comfortable. She keeps me posted on what is going on. Keeps an eye on any injuries or anything different so she can take care of it. I trust her 100% and would recommend her to anyone. But don’t call her. I want to keep her all to myself!! Sheila in Cool

Schedule
I work from home Mon - Fri so I can sit mid-week but need access to high-speed internet if I'm staying in your home. I do take well behaved cats and dogs in my own home, as long as they meet and get along with my animal friendly pets. My weekends are available if I'm not previously engaged, but I do have an active schedule so I will work with you to ensure my schedule is a good fit for your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
I am available for overnights, drop in and some boarding care for your pets and home. I have a detailed checklist to help set expectations for care whether in your home or mine. I do a health and safety check twice a day (morning and evening) to ensure the items on your list have been completed. The care of your animals and property is always my highest priority and I will work with you to set clear expectations and let you know if I'm a good fit. Please note, if you are interested in boarding, we do have 3 small friendly inside dogs and a blind indoor kitty. They are all extremely well socialized, vaccinated and used to meeting new client's pets. We also living on a working ranch and while I can keep your pet separate if they are housebroken and crate trained, I will also incorporate them safely into our daily routine when its appropriate and best for them. Our doggie guests love playing in our large fenced yard where they can see our livestock but not get in with them.
Pets
A typical day
I love to find ways to help your dog expend some energy including exploring safe areas of your property and neighborhood, playing fetch or other appropriate games, etc. When here we can discuss the best arrangement for your pet but we love when they can be a part of the family and enjoy running around the ranch while we work in the yard.
