Before moving to Colorado, I worked at a pet boarding, grooming, and daycare center, where I oversaw the care of 10-30 dogs and cats every day. This included daily diets, medication administration (pills, eye drops, ear drops, topical meds, etc.), grooming, outdoor playtime, waste management, and socialization. I understand that every pet has a unique temperament and personality that comes with different needs. I have experience with dogs of every size, age, and temperament including those with high levels of aggression and/or severe anxiety. I have worked with many puppies, senior dogs, and animals with special needs due to chronic conditions. I currently have a sweet lab mix named Mango who is my baby. I also grew up with a dog and 3 cats, one of whom birthed 2 litters of kittens. Caring for an animal is a huge responsibility that is never to be taken lightly, and I love doing it. I am also a big proponent of animal therapy and firmly believe that pets can change lives. Wow where do I start with this review. Anna exceeded our expectations tremendously. She watched our 2 year old german shepherd and our 9 month old Aussie. We didn't want to board them because they are not spayed and they would have not gotten a chance to participate in playtime with the other dogs. Anna is very caring, and attentive. She is VERY experienced with dogs, and knew what to look out for. This made us feel comfortable. She sent photos of our pups to us while we were away and they looked so happy and were clearly well-cared for. At the end of my vacation, i started to miss her for my dogs! My dogs come off as super crazy & high energy at first, so many people are quick to run, or turn away... but Anna was so patient with them. Our house was left so clean when we came back, it was a nice bonus because it was so nice to come home to a clean home. We were so skeptical about using rover, let alone having a stranger stay with our dogs, but we would not hesitate to have Anna watch them again. I am certain my pups would be ecstatic to have her again. Anna, we thank you again so much, from the bottom of our hearts! We hope you will watch our puppers again in the near future.
Anna has been taking care of my pets for several months now. She is extremely reliable and caring. Also, she is also very observant. If she notices something regarding my pets she will let me know. Anna listens very well and follows instructions I leave for her to the letter. She is wonderful. You won’t be unhappy.
Anna is a caregiver at heart. She is gifted with people and animals alike. I’ve known Anna for years as a trusted friend and fellow dog lover. She always demonstrates the greatest kindness and compassion with animals. On top of that she’s one of the most responsible people I know. That’s why I ask her first to watch my shih tzu-maltese whenever I am going on vacation! Truly she is an excellent friend to animals.
Anna works for me at a boarding kennel, so she is a professional "dog person". She is very responsible, capable, and knowledgable about dog care. Most importantly, she cares for every pet with the love and attention she would give her own!

I live in a non-smoking, pet-friendly, 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment with my partner, who is also highly experienced with animal caretaking, and our dog, Mango. Mango is incredibly sweet and has never had any issues with other pets, including dogs that are aggressive/fearful. We live in a very safe apartment complex that has an excellent dog park and a convenient pet grooming facility.

A typical day
I live in a very safe, pet-friendly apartment complex in a residential area - this is where we will be getting most of our walks and playtime in. There is a dog park located in the apartment complex which is excellent for playing fetch. There is also a dog-grooming facility. If you are open to it, some days I would be happy to drive with your dog to larger parks or natural areas to play and/or hike.
