Born into a family with dogs and cats there has never been a moment with the exception of right now of not owning my own dog. Unfortunately my beloved Pitbull lab mix passed about a year ago and I have not been able to find another perfect match. I love dogs however and my face lights up whenever I get to be around them! My home is perfect for pets because it is very large and bright, there are no stairs and an elevator to my floor. As of right now I spend a large majority of my time home on a daily basis working from my computer, but working from my computer all the time leaves me with the need to go outside multiple times a day to get some free air. I usually walk anywhere from 4-9 miles daily and would love to have your furry best friend as my partner! With Van Cortlandt park just blocks away from my apartment your pup is insured to have a great time running around with me! Having dogs my entire life I have always trained my own dogs; from indoor potty training, to leash pulling I make sure that any problems are nipped in the butt in a proper way (NO HITTING, rewarding good behavior!!!!!). I do have a 6 year old daughter who probably loves dogs even more than I do and has been BEGGING me for a new dog so I would love to help fill that void for her by offering her lots of friends who can stay and cuddle with us while watching Frozen or The Lion King :) If you want your dog to feel loved and cherished while you are away at work or out of town you have found the right home for that! I will offer nothing but my undivided attention and affection
