I had the pleasure of choosing Anna to help tend to my pooches a few years ago. I worked very long hours, and while my husband was deployed I desperately needed help tending to my four dogs. I had two large boxers and two mini schnauzers at this time. I was in the process of having a fence put at my house, and due to the foot traffic and fencing deliveries my yard was a wreck. Anna was always there, rain or shine to walk my dogs twice a day, make sure they were fed, watered, and best of all happy! She even wiped all 16 paws when necessary before they came back in from the rain! One of my pooches was scared of the weather and Anna was gentle and encouraging and was able calm her down during the storms. One day while when I was able to get off early to work from home, Anna was getting ready to walk the dogs and my nephew asked her if he could go along. Anna agreed that this would not be an issue and happily took him with her while walking two of the dogs. I didn't realize it at the time, but one of my boxers was becoming very protective of my nephew. On their way, a neighbors unleashed dog ran towards my nephew and my boxer lunged towards the neighbors dog viciously. Anna was quickly able to "submit" my boxer while keeping the neighbor's dog at bay and away from my nephew. No one (and no pup) was hurt that day. Though I don't think any of the dog's in question were "bad" dogs, I do believe if it wasn't for Anna's quick thinking and well handling of this situation, things could have gone very badly. It was such a relief to be able to find someone that I could trust with my home, my fur babies, and my family during my husbands deployment.

Anna loves animals and has a real compassion for them. I know this first-hand, especially when it comes to dogs and cats. She has a compassion for other animals as well, meeting thier needs and not wanting to see any get hurt. I believe she would be great for the position!
