We always had pets in my house growing up, except I could never convince my mother to get a dog. That's when I began dog-sitting for friends and neighbors. As soon as I started taking dogs to parks and playing with them, I realized how much I genuinely love dogs. I always find myself absolutely in love with every dog I meet, and we always hit things off pretty well. I have experience with dogs of all types, aggressive, timid, friendly, or anxious. I also have experience with all different sizes of dogs, from chihuahuas to Newfies. As a biology major, at UW-Madison, I am heavily involved in research. Coincidentally, much of my research is focused on dogs! One of my research projects was on canine psychology. As a result, I can read dogs fairly well, and I am quickly able to tell when somethings not quite right. Starting around late August, my focus will switch to gene therapy in dogs.
