Pet care experience
I have been my neighborhood dog walker for around four years now, and I have had experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes! I have had experience with dog nutrition, leash training, and potty training. When I am not at college, I help my parents care for my own dog, a female Boxer-mix named Virginia who is one of my closest companions. Simply put, I cannot imagine my life without dogs in it!

I have a fenced yard accessible to me daily, and I would welcome daily runs and walks with a dog in my care. I live in a duplex, so I have 9 other members of my home who would be more than happy to give pets some extra love and help them assimilate to the environment. We currently have no other dogs or cats in the house, so your pet would receive all of the attention!

I do not have any breed preferences, but I would like to know the age and temperament of the dog so that I can plan my day accordingly. For example, I may choose to read and paint alongside a calm dog that just wants to hang out, whereas I might choose to exercise with an active puppy that needs lots of play time.
A typical day
Your dog and can go on long walks, either in Audubon Park or just around my neighborhood. I love to jog with dogs, play fetch, and give them lots of love!

Availability
I am currently a student at Tulane University taking a combination of online and in-person classes. I am an Art and English major, so I spend a large portion of my time reading and painting at home. As such, I am home often and would welcome the addition of a furry friend to keep me company! Other than specific class times, my schedule is very flexible and I am often searching for an excuse to get outside and breathe the fresh air.
