Animals have always been the loves of my life, the bond you can share with them is unlike any other. I have owned dogs my entire life, big and small, from golden retrievers to Italian greyhounds and chihuahuas, and each one of them has had a special place in my heart. My late golden retriever, Charley, showed me a bond and love unlike any other, he was my best friend, and I am so grateful to have been able to spend his 15 years of his life by his side. I currently have a 4 year old Italian greyhound miniature pinscher, Chewy, and a 4 month old golden retriever named Jagger (like the Rolling Stones!). I know every dog has their own personality and special needs, and I love being able to create a special bond with every dog I come into contact with, and am more than understanding of special needs that each dog may have. Whether it's medication or diet necessities, dog-aggressiveness, or anything else in between, I completely understand and have dealt with it with my own pups, or others that I've cared for. I also know how important it is to find a caregiver or walker you trust, and your dog loves. I can be there at a moment's notice, most of the time, and spend quality time with your pup while you're away. Outside of dogs, I personally have freshwater and saltwater fish tanks, have previously cared for reptiles, and previously owned ferrets. Taking care of my fish tanks is one of my favorite past times! If I'm not doing that, or studying, I'm often at the beach with my two dogs hanging out, enjoying the beautiful South Florida weather! I am currently a student at Florida Atlantic University, making my schedule very flexible, so any accommodations necessary will be made. I can't wait to meet your dog!
