Hello Pet Daddy & Mommy! My name is Anna. I too was a Pup Mommy to a beautiful long hair chihuahua named Remy. I’d gotten Remy as a puppy when he was 7 1/2 weeks old. He was a tiny soft furry ball of Love. Remy and I learned a lot from each other while I was a new puppy mom. In the process of everything new, Remy and I went to a professional dog training school. There I was taught not how to train Remy but how to communicate with him and become his pack leader. Remy really worked hard at being attentive and learn how to follow my direction and I worked really hard at learning the tricks to earn Remy’s attention. We did so good that our coach came over to our home for our “graduation” class. I’ll always remember Remy’s happy smiles when he saw our trainer come into our home. I will always remember how expressive he was showing his contentment. From there verything was a learning experience for both myself and Remy. Of course, one of the tricks to good training is that there is always lots of positive reinforcement like “Good Boy! Good Girl!”, but also lots of treats and lots of love petting involved. In the end it’s all for fun! I learned to love animals so much that I worked an animal health program for Petsmart. I got trained on basic pet health. But my favorite part was interacting with the pet parents to forward my knowledge. There is so much love involved when wanting to learn how to properly raise a healthy pet. I think that’s why I did so well on that national Petsmart program. I just loved witnessing that “aha” moment when parents find a way to keep their pet Happy & Healthy. What to expect when Anna is your pet sitter: You the Pet Daddy/Mommy, your pet(s) and Anna will meet prior to scheduling in order to confirm you are all a good fit. Prior to pet sitting, Anna will ask questions such as your puppy / pet’s name(s), age(s), breed(s), health needs, dietary needs, feeding schedules, water drinking schedules if any, treat feeding routines, potty walk schedules, medicine feeding, if crate trained, if the pup / pet has some prior training and any specific commands if applicable, if a gate is necessary between visits, if and when anxiety sets in, and anything else you think Anna should know to keep you & your pets Happy. With your permission, if the puppy(s) does well in public places, Anna would like to take your them to dog friendly restaurants, cafés, stores and parks. Please tell Anna if you and your dog(s) have a favorite place to go : ). If you have an active dog, per your request, Anna and your puppy will play while exercising given the area and toys available. Anna can feed your pets his/her medicine. Please provide soft foods or pill pockets if and when necessary. I love animals and I look forward to loving your fur baby’s.
