Biggest animal lover in town!
Pet care experience
Hello! If you knew me personally, you would immediately know that I am the biggest animal lover you will ever come across. Ever since I was young I had a desire to work with and help animals. When I was in high school I volunteered at North Shore Animal League (an animal shelter in LI), and now I spend my spare time rescuing cats (let me know if you're interested in checking out my rescue page). If you trust me to take care of or walk your pet, you can be assured that they will be treated only with love and care :)

Was lucky to have found Anna and her family through rover just days before my trip that I took for a week. She took such great care of my 6 month golden retriever puppy that I didnt feel a bit of stress throughout my time away. Anna constantly updated me with photos and was very professional throughout Jaydens stay. There were a few items that I forgot to give her to assist in the maintanence of my puppy and she went out of her way to purchase them. To my suprise, she also taught Jayden a new trick! He was able to spin on command! When I recieved Jayden back from her, he was bathed and smelled like a new born pup all over again. Jayden requires TONS of excercise and TLC so Anna was able to accommodate by making sure he got a few hours of walking each day. I would absolutely recommend anyone use Anna as she will treat your pet like she did mine, like famila. I look forward to having Anna and Jayden meet again. Thank you Anna!

Walks will be one hour long and I will be asking questions about your pet's personality do I know how to interact with outside stimuli when I walk them. I have a car and am totally willing to take your pet to the park if they need lots of exercise. I can also transport your pet from one place to another if you need me to. For in home visits, I will do whatever you ask me to so that I can provide the care they need while you're away. I can stay for up to an hour if you need someone to spend time with them as well!
Information Anna K. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know their temperament especially when it comes to how they behave with strangers, other animals, and children. I will also like to know some of their walking habits (pulling, eating food off the ground, etc) so I can be prepared ahead of time. If they have any medical issues that affect them on their walks, it would be nice for me to know as well.
A typical day
I will scope out the neighborhood for walks around the block or even find nearby parks to take your pet. We can play your pet's favorite games and even do some exercises!

I know lots about pet care because I do tons of research whenever I get the chance. It's because I love learning about animals but also it is important for me to be knowledgeable about the care and health of animals when I rescue cats. I have two cats of my own who are super healthy and happy. Always happy to show them off if ;)
