With regards to my primary job, I receive my schedule 2 weeks in advance, and I do not work more than 8 hours per day. As of right now, my work start times are generally mid-afternoon and the shifts end around 10pm to 12am depending on the day. I will be very communicative about this, and you will know my daily hours to the letter before and (should you choose me) during taking care of your pets! I prefer not to schedule housesitting care more than 2 weeks out just because of the fact I don’t know my schedule any further out than that, but I am happy to remain in communication if you are looking for something further out. If your pet has set times in the evening that they absolutely need to eat or walk, please specify that when we first start discussing your pet care needs to ensure their schedule can be upheld. To summarize, generally speaking, based on what I tend to receive schedule-wise, I am home during the day and often work nights :) If possible, please give at least 2-3 days advanced notice for all booking needs as I do have a primary job and will likely not be able to accommodate day-of requests.
