I am a yogi, avid long distance runner, and animal lover living in San Luis Obispo. I am a software engineer who works at home full-time. I have boarded, walked, and cared for dogs and other pets since my teenage years. I am a caring and responsible person who is an early riser (great for early morning runs and walks!). I hope to get a dog one day but for now am excited to walk and sit your pup! I will run with your dog if requested and provide photos and videos of your pup daily. I can also provide training and enforcement for your pup if requested. In addition, I have walked and cared for dogs on Wag! since moving to the Bay area several years ago.

Anna is great! It was our first time leaving our dog overnight with a dog sitter and she made sure everything went smoothly. Also appreciated all the updates and pictures of our pup.
Anna was great! Pictures everyday, super responsive when I messaged her, and very flexible on drop off & pick up times. Our dog seemed to have a great time on all the walks and excursions she took him on.
Anna was absolutely fantastic. We left Billy Bob with her while on our honeymoon feeling very comfortable and confident she was going to go above and beyond for our little guy. Would definitely recommend booking her for your dog! Thank you Anna ?
Anna is a great dog sitter! With tons of experience comes a patience and understanding that each dog is unique. My dog is older and stubborn when it comes to meeting new people. But Anna was willing to give him the space and time that he needed to warm up to her. She was very communicative throughout!

I have no other animals or children so your dog will get plenty of individualized attention. I do typically allow them on my couch if that is what they are used to. Happy to crate them when I leave or at night if that is part of their/your process.

I would like to know if they are prone to aggression or friendly, are good with children (I don't have any but it's good to know), have a skittish or calm temperament, have separation anxiety, or any other health or personality characteristics that would help me make the dog’s stay more comfortable, safe, and happy.
A typical day
We'll go on frequent walks (and runs if requested!) around the neighborhood, in and around parks and recreational areas, and to dog parks. I will play fetch with the pup if he/she enjoys it, and offer opportunities for frolicking in water or with other dogs, all pup dependent of course. I will pet and/or brush your dog, and can bath him or her if requested. I can also do enforcement training (sit, stay, paw, etc) if requested. I have a one bedroom apartment that provides ample space for a furry friend.

Availability
I work from home and take frequent walks and breaks so your pup will get plenty of exercise! I love going to parks and on walking trails. I live in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown.
