Pet care experience
We have owned dogs since we were children. We now have a lovely 3 year old beagle Diego that we love to take out for long walks regularly (we work from home) and love having another furry friend to join us on walks and in our home for daycare or boarding. Diego is a very friendly and sociable dog, so if your pup is similar then they’ll get on like a house on fire! Please note that we generally only look after one extra dog at a time, so your pup will have our (and Diego’s) undivided attention :) We work from home most days and are available most weekends, preferably with a few days notice. We have a fenced yard which your dog will have direct access to. Our own dog is a bit of a scavenger (typical beagle!) so our home is well dog and puppy-proofed.

Thank you Anna and Jake for looking after Barry for the first time today. I wasn’t sure he would behave himself on arrival but you managed to settle him down, and he got on well with the lovely Diego in the end! Thanks also for the photos and update which were very reassuring

A typical day
We’re right in the middle of lots of fun parks for sniffing or running (on or off lead depending on your preference). Our local park also has an enclosed area. Our beagle loves to sniff so we have lots of engaging toys at home like snuffle mats and puzzles that he’d be happy to share. We also love a good game of fetch or frisbee :)

Availability
We take our dog for at least 2x 45 minute walks per day, involving lots of sniffing and chasing. Our local park has a secure enclosed area.
