Caring & Reliable-24/7 Animal Lover
Pet care experience
Ever since I can remember I have always loved animals, especially dogs. My first dog was Ginger, a sweet and very energetic English Pointer who I adopted from the humane society. I have now owned 4 dogs with all different and quirky personalities. When you see ‘we’, it means my husband (Chet) and I work as a team to care for your pet. You can have full faith and confidence in the care your pet/best friend will receive when booking with us, because we love them as though they are our own. I have 30 plus years experience caring for dogs and exotic animals. I grew up dog sitting and house sitting, and walked dogs for my neighbors, friends and family. I even have 3 years experience working with wild dogs at the Zoo. Chet grew up in NE, farming and has a lot of experience in animal care. We treat our pets as though they are our children- they are a part of our family. They have a full basket of toys & get to play games with myself, Chet and our three boys. We are very hospitable to what you and your pets needs are. If you have a very energetic Lab or puppy who needs daily walks and stimulation, or an older dog who may be hard of hearing, blind or is unable to go up & down stairs; we are fully capable of accommodating to what you're pets needs are. We have a fully fenced in yard - front and back. Each area can be closed off, so you don’t have to worry that your Husky will jump the front fence or your small 11 year old terrier will get trampled by the energetic 3 month old Great Dane. We make sure each dog/pet is matched up and playing with an appropriate playmate. We always feed pets separately as well as give treats and bones. I am a stay at home mom, so your fur baby will have someone around 8 plus hours a day. We try to go for walks daily & even take trips to local parks. Your dog, cat or small critter will love staying with us. It will be a home away from home...pulse maybe some extra treats!
Reviews
Our dog just loves it here. Thanks for taking good care of him again.
Anna came in clutch at the last minute and took wonderful care of our dog. She is responsive and sends lots of updates which we appreciated so much!
We had a lovely experience with Ana. Our original dog sitter had a medical emergency and we had to find someone a bit more last minute than I would have liked, and we could not have asked for a better sitter! Our basset came back exhausted (a sign of a good time) and her communication was top-notch!
Anna and her family treat our puppy like their own. Anna is communicative, thoughtful, patient and goes above and beyond to take wonderful care of our pup. Thank you so much, Anna!

Incorporating pet care into your daily/weekly routine involves careful planning and consistency to ensure your pets receive the attention and care they need. Here's how it can fit into the schedule: **Daily Routine:** 1. **Feeding:** Set specific times for feeding, ideally in the morning and evening, to maintain a regular feeding schedule. 2. **Exercise:** Allocate time for daily walks, playtime, or physical activities, which may vary based on the pet's energy level and breed. 3. **Grooming:** Depending on the pet's needs, grooming can be done daily or a few times a week, including brushing and cleaning. 4. **Social Interaction:** Spend quality time with your pet throughout the day, whether it's cuddling, training, or simply keeping them company. 5. **Basic Training:** Incorporate short training sessions into daily routine to reinforce good behavior and mental stimulation. **Weekly Routine:** **Cleaning:** Dedicate time to clean litter boxes, cages, or living areas, removing any waste and ensuring a clean and hygienic environment. **Health Maintenance:** Check overall health and administer any necessary medications, supplements, or preventive treatments. **Exercise Variability:** On a weekly basis, play sessions, longer walks, or trips to parks to keep your pet mentally and physically engaged. **Special Treats and Activities:** Plan special treats or activities, like a trip to a pet-friendly cafe or a new toy, to provide extra enjoyment for your pet. Remember that the specific routine may vary based on your pet's age, breed, and individual needs. Flexibility is key, as unexpected situations may arise, requiring adjustments to our schedule to accommodate your pet's well-being.
