Growing up I had multiple dogs in my household. I even helped my first dog birth 8 pitbull mixed puppies. I later went on to raise those two puppies as well. One of them actually only had three legs due to an accident during birth where the mom bit his leg off mistakenly because she thought it was an umbilical cord! We went on to heal his wound and raise him and train him with the rest of the dogs even though the vet suggested putting him down. My sister also has a pitbull that I love to take care of as well. Carly, the dog who had the puppies lived 17 years and we had to put her down unfortunately and now we have Bella who is a one-year-old Labradoodle. In Carly‘s last days she wasn’t doing too well so I definitely have skills with administering medication
