Pet care experience
I run a small seasonal farm where I grow organic produce and raise pastured chickens. I have two dogs and two cats of my own, and love spending time around animals. I’ve been through puppy training, litter box training, administering oral medications to elderly pets, and tending to animals after a surgery. Happy to help with whatever pet needs you have!

Anna was great with our two dogs. She spent time with both of them each time she came to visit, and they didn't express any of their usual stress behaviors the entire time we were gone. We will definitely be using her again when we have to leave them home.
Anna provided excellent care for our two cats, we received timely and informative updates and she was very clear in all communications. Our girls were perfectly happy when we returned and I found their litter box corner all tidy with not a crumb out of place…Probably even cleaner than we left it! We will absolutely use Anna’s services in the future and would recommend her to anyone in the area.
Anna was amazing! She was timely and responsive with her messages, photos, and videos. I will definitely be requesting her again.
I have three cats and some people are overwhelmed by that but Anna had no problem taking care of my furry babies when I was traveling. One of my cats needs oral medication x2 a day so I know that Anna is someone who’s punctual and can be relied on from my own personal experience.

You can always count on me to be kind and attentive towards your animals during my visits because spending time around animals is one of the things I enjoy most. I’m able to provide brisk walks to highly energetic pets and have two husky-mix dogs of my own-so I’m well prepared to walk a dog that pulls their leash! You can also count on me to lockup every single time as I am THAT person in the relationship that constantly nags, “did you remember to lock the door?”

Please let me know your pets’ preferences, especially if you’re a first time client! I’m happy to accommodate whatever needs or quirks your furry friend may have. If there is something that’s an absolute “do not do” please let me know those things as well. Example: “Do not take Sammy past the house with the fenced in yard at the edge of the block! There is another dog that lives there who is Sammy’s absolute enemy!”
A typical day
Wether you have a cat or a dog, I have ways to get them to play and get some of that energy out! My favorite way to engage dogs is to play fetch or tug depending on your pups preference. We can play in the back yard or I can take your dog on a walk in the neighborhood or a nearby park. Cats are tougher to engage as they often retreat on a first encounter with someone new. I find that catnip toys (if permitted by the owner,) and feather teaser toys are some of the best ways to entice a cat to play. Once a cat begins trusts me, I can show my affection towards them in other ways like petting and grooming them, or offering them my lap to sleep in.
