GM dog walking service is a family run business set up in the North East England, Durham. GM walking service was created by my brother Adam Grantham, who is currently too ill to pursue his dream. He started the business before getting Ill a few years ago, in loving memory of our Grandfather George Martin who always had a dog by his side. He instilled this love for animals in us from a young age. I have been surrounded by Dogs, mainly Spaniels and labradors. When I was 9yrs we had a Russian Shepherd BA and Bonnie and Hidi our rescue kitten. I was passionately attached to caring for them, everywhere possible BA would come with me. They all slept on the bed. When I moved to Qatar to pursue a career in teaching English to under 8’s. I volunteered to dog and house sit for expats as and when needed. This extended my pet care experience. Then back in the Uk after gaining a Childcare degree I owned a Cavalier King Charles and now have two Cockerpoo puppies and we love going for long walks together and I love training them. They use a bell to tell me they need to go outside… they do all basic commands for treats and feel confident to express themselves freely. I follow the Dogs Trust puppy training methods through praise and reward. I am a qualified reiki practitioner level 1&2 and have a certificate in Reiki for animals too. From September I will be able to provide care for long weekends only around fully committed customers.
