I grew up in a family with lots of pets, so I am a huge animal lover! I rescued my own pup Winnie a few years ago. I am open to whatever arrangement works best for you, whether that be hosting your pet, staying at your house, just stopping by throughout the day, or occasional walks. I have experience with pet sitting for both dogs and cats of different temperaments, sizes, etc. I am located downtown Madison. Anna is a lovely, caring person and we are grateful she cared for our dog. Split time at our house and her apartment; dogs got to be friends; our dog loved Anna. Can’t go wrong with Anna!
Anna is fantastic with Otis. She does a great job of making Otis feel welcome and soothing his separation anxiety. And my anxiety as well, leaving him with someone else. She is organized and extremely dependable. Couldn’t recommend her more highly. Each time Otis visits Anna and her sweet dog, he’s all smiles.
Anna was absolutely amazing in watching my Great Pyrenees, Ellie, for the weekend. Ellie struggled with separation anxiety and stress and Anna did everything in her power to make sure Ellie was calm and feeling at home. I couldn’t recommend her more. She is very communicative and responsive and I hope she will consider watching Ellie for me in the future!

I live in an apartment so I’m used to always walking on leash, unless owner has a fenced in yard. Please let me know if there’s any important safety tips for your pet (fears, escaping, etc).

I live in an apartment, so I would not be a good fit for dogs that aren’t leash trained or are generally leash reactive. Because I live in an apartment with neighbors, a vocal dog may also not do well boarding here. Let me know of any special needs, training situations (crating, house training, etc), and if your pet needs special care/concerns around my own dog.
A typical day
Typically we go for a 20-30 minute walk in the morning and a quick lunchtime walk. After work we go for another 30 minute evening walk, and out once more before bed. Any pet in my home is welcome to sleep in the bed at night unless directed otherwise!

Availability
I typically remote 4 days/week and am rarely gone for more than an hour or two at a time. Please let me know if you would have concerns about your dog being alone in the case that I did need to go to work in person or leave the house for a brief time during their stay.
