Pet care experience
I have been working with dogs for over a year now at two different boarding and daycare facilities. I have worked with dogs that are 5 pounds to 120 pounds and I love all of them! My family and I have always owned small dogs, however I have a special place in my heart for large dogs. I have experience in all types of feeding and administering medications when necessary. I have experience in temperament testing in groups of 20 or more and I have successfully intervened on a dog with an aggressive nature. I have experience in taking care of senior dogs, as well as deaf and blind dogs. I also have experience in bathing, ear cleaning, teeth cleaning, and nail clipping, however I do not have full grooming experience. Working with dogs is my therapy! I don't only love working with the animals, but also forming bonds and relationships that will always be very special to me. I am currently in school part-time to complete a degree in nursing. I followed this path because of my passion to care for others. This has always carried over into my compassion towards dogs and all animals and to make sure they receive the care that they deserve.

Anna did a great job caring for my pets and made me feel at ease while I was away. I have two skittish cats that warmed right up to her, and a big dog who takes medication and needs a lot exercise, and she did great with him. I appreciated Anna's detailed descriptions of the visits and photos of the pets along the way!
Anna was great! She was able to help me out in a pinch and I am home to a very happy pup!
Anna was incredible! We needed a last minute service for our dog and she stepped up and provided excellent care for him. She was patient while he got used to her and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We will absolutely contact Anna the next time we need services for our little one. Thank you again Anna!

I do not have any breed preferences, I have worked with all different breeds. I would like to know they are up to date on their vaccinations to ensure safety. I would also like to know if they are aggressive towards people or if certain things cause them anxiety (for example, a dog is fine with being touched and pet unless it is above or near their head). I would also like to know what needs the dog has (food restrictions, movement restrictions, etc.)
A typical day
I will walk the dogs through my apartment complex and behind the complex is a neighborhood that connects to a road with great sidewalks. For the dogs who love to play with others, there is a dog park close by that I love to go to for the dogs to play and get their energy out. For the dogs who love toys and fetch, I love to play with them also! And of course, every dog gets my undivided attention with pets and snuggles.
