Hello! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Anna-Faye and I'm your friendly neighbourhood pet sitter! I’ve cared for dogs for the majority of my life. This includes family dogs, friends dogs and my own dogs. I am an experienced pet care provider, handling dogs of all sizes and walks of life (small, large, XL, puppies and seniors). I have also opened up my home to and have worked diligently with some foster dogs that had been abandoned and required extra care (and snuggles!). I come equipped with obedience training knowledge as I firmly believe that consistent training during puppyhood and beyond is imperative. I’ve also administered oral medication to dogs of all ages and sizes. I absolutely love dogs, probably way too much (if even possible). I’ve literally been labelled “that lady that shows up to a social gathering and makes friends with the dog(s).” I also take any (and all) opportunities to snuggle and go on fun adventures with your furry friends! My main operations here are house-sitting (which I will travel any distance for - happy to discuss!) and boarding. With that being said, I also offer daycare, drop-ins, dog walking, wedding services and other pet care. My pet care scale isn’t limited to only dogs. I also provide cat care, small critter care, fish care and most reptile care! However, I draw the line at snake and arachnid care due to phobia. I presently own a senior Toy Poodle, named Zero. He’s super playful for his age, has separation anxiety and requires occasional medication. He loves all of his new friends that stay with us and gets along with both male and female dogs. I also have a friendly cat, named Felix. He’s “the boss” of the house and is indifferent to our furry visitors. Previously, I’ve owned a Great Dane (Rainbow Bridge) and a Dalmatian (Rainbow Bridge). After the loss of our last good-boi I’ve been looking to fill the void but not quite ready to take the plunge and replace him yet. I believe that providing pet care services to my clients has provided me with a happy medium. It has definitely enriched my life in so many ways! In the end, I really love growing with my pet-parents and playing a part in their lives. I’ve grown to meet so many people through pet sitting and I couldn’t be happier with what I do! My two dogs stayed at Anna-Faye’s house overnight and all I can say is that all three of us were extremely happy. Anna-Faye is professional, courteous, trustworthy and last and certainly not least, great with dogs. I also really appreciated that she sent me pictures and updates. I knew my dogs were in good hands. I’ve already decided to leave my dogs with her for a longer stay next month. Thanks Anna-Faye for everything.
This is the second time Anna-Faye has taken care of our dog when we were away. Once again she was amazing! Fantastic updates and pictures were sent to let us know how she was doing. Anna-Faye always goes the extra mile.
I am really happy with Anna-Faye. My cats were taken care of well. She sent me pictures and videos so I was less stressed to see they were happy and they were not anxious at all. I will rebook for sure next time I go away on holidays.
We have loved working with Anna-Faye. Cooper is a big boy and poppy is skittish yet she handled them both with confidence with ease. We are soo happy to have found someone we trust with our dogs. Will absolutely be working with her in the future!

Security: It is important for me to provide a safe and a secure environment for all care provided, whether in my own home or my clients home. For house-sitting: Rover conducts a background check and I have undergone a thorough background/security screening for my full-time job. This confirms that I am trustworthy and that any questionable behaviour is not worth it to me. I purchase my own groceries for the duration of my stay, so providing me with food isn't necessary. I only sleep in the assigned room that is provided to me and do not use or enter any other rooms unless prior permission is granted by the owner. I also clean up after myself (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, bedding, vacuuming etc.) throughout and on the last day of the job. I ask that any care instructions for both the home and your pet be noted for me to follow (eg: watering plants, feeding/walking schedules, vet information, anything that you need for me to know etc.) I will happily work your dogs schedule in to my own (please see schedule above) and can also make adjustments. For pet boarding/doggy-daycare: I live in a mid-sized single family home, in a trusted neighbourhood, that comes equipped with a very large, fenced yard. Dogs will be let out a few times daily and get lots of outdoor supervised playtime. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR BOARDING AND DOGGY DAYCARE: All pets *must* be up to date with their vaccines and clear of all worms/parasites! In order to keep all pets healthy and safe, this is a requirement upon booking! I take this job quite seriously and pet safety is my number one priority. Your pets will always have someone around to give them lots of attention and affection. I do everything I can to meet the needs of your pets to assure they are safe, comfortable, and having fun during their stay. Daily photos and communication/updates are also provided for all services.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs (medications, illnesses, allergies, round the clock care etc.) or behaviours (separation anxiety, aggression, etc.) that I can account for. I like to know your routine with him/her so that I can mirror it to make your furry friend feel more at ease.
A typical day
My day starts early, usually between 6:00-7:00am where I let Zero out for a bathroom break and then feed him and Felix breakfast. I then take Zero for a little walk around the neighbourhood so that he can enjoy some fresh air. When we get home I set myself up for work. Felix (my boss) usually accompanies me and lays on the guest bed to sunbathe while my dog sits on my lap. Throughout the day we play, practice tricks for treats and he gets let out in the back yard to go talk with his other dog friends. Lunch time calls for another walk, but to the park this time. Post-dinner we walk around the neighbourhood and/or go to the dog park a couple times a week to make friends! While your pet is in my care, we will be doing more or less of the same routine and activities unless specified otherwise. I absolutely love the outdoors, sunshine and going on little adventures and am more than happy to share these adventures with your furry friends!

Availability
Schedule: I work from home, full-time, therefore I’m able to give your dog all the attention needed and they would rarely be unattended (should I need to leave for any period of time, it’s always discussed with the client). I wake up between 6:00am-7:00am, so your pet is able to be let out early in the morning with consecutive potty-breaks throughout the day. Breakfast is served shortly after that. My lunch break is an hour long which allows for a walk. After work your furry friend will get let out for another walk. If boarding, dinner is fed at the owners requested time and then they get aalll of the attention and snuggles in the evenings up until bed time. I’m also an avid runner, so if you have a high energy dog that could benefit from good run, I’d be more than happy to do that! There won’t be any lack of exercise or mental stimulation for your furry friend while in my care. Working from home also allows for me to leave my house to do drop-ins and/or give your dog a walk. On weekends my schedule is very open. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have specific or last minute requests, I’m pretty flexible!
