Pet care experience
I currently volunteer at the Humane Society of Westchester at New Rochelle as a dog-walker, so I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, behavior, training-level, and personalities! I used to dog-walk and pet-sit for neighbors in my previous town, including: two adult dachshunds, a goldendoodle puppy, a senior coonhound mix, many different cats, and even a couple of bunnies! Since moving back to New Rochelle (I grew up in Larchmont!) I’ve walked a variety of dogs: Pitbulls and pit-mixes, Staffordshire Terriors, Labradors and Lab-Mixes, Beagles, Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Mastiffs, Huskies, Golden Retrievers, and all kinds of mixed-breed dogs and rescues! I am quick to fall in love with practically any animal I meet, and I will love your pet as I would my own from the minute I meet them! I formerly had a beagle-mix who we adopted as a 2-year old; we had over 10 wonderful years with him and cared for him into his senior years and end-of-life. I grew up with multiple rescue cats, including a diabetic cat who I had to administer daily insulin injections to, so I am very comfortable with all kinds of kitties! I also currently have a 10 year old cat - he was found as a stray in Larchmont as a 3-week old baby and I have raised him ever since.

Unfortunately due to apartment restrictions I will not be able to care for your pet in my home. However I am happy to care for your pet however you prefer in your own home, and take them wherever you'd like (including any special place your dog likes to walk or play)! I am comfortable staying with dogs who are crate-trained, as well as dogs who are used to having the run of the house. I can get your pet as much or as little exercise as he/she prefers - I love exercise and walking outdoors, but am just as happy snuggling on the couch or playing inside!

The most important thing for me to know is if your pet has any medical issues, allergies or dietary restrictions so I know what kind of treats they’re allowed to have, if any! I’m always cautious about letting dogs interact with each other on walks, unless I know that both dogs are friendly; however if you let me know that your pup is super reactive, I’ll be extra-careful to always keep them a safe distance from other dogs.
A typical day
My goal is always to make your pet as happy as possible! I’m here to give them one-on-one love and attention, as well as exercise, mental stimulation, and most importantly, fun! I'm always ready for a long walk, a jog, or a game of fetch at the dog park, and there are lots of fun parks nearby that I can take your dog to. If your pet would prefer to stay inside I’m always happy to play indoors or just cuddle together. I always have treats with me, and will share them with your pet if you say it’s okay!

Availability
My days and weeks revolve around pet-sitting and dog-walking! I have availability almost every day, with the exception of some dates which have already been fully booked. My weekend availability can be somewhat limited, but during the week I am typically available all day!
