Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Anna, born and raised in Toronto and currently living in the St Clair and Bathurst area. My experience with dogs is a mix of being a seasoned owner with 14+ years of personal experience along with fostering 11 (and counting) dogs for various not-for-profit rescue organizations (Fetch + Releash, New Collar Collective, Second Chance). I have fostered and dogsat different breeds, sizes (mostly small-medium due to apartment size) and a range of temperaments. I have experience with special needs dogs, administering medicines, senior dogs with mobility issues and am well equipped to exercise patience and compassion in each unique situation. I have a special interest and connection with very timid, anxious and sensitive dogs who are in need of building confidence and feeling safe in their environment. I take lost dog prevention very seriously, am well versed in best practices, as my dog Diesel and most of the foster dogs I've cared for are flight risks.

She has a flexible schedule and is always prompt in getting back to you. Very professional and courteous. My family would highly recommend her.
Anna is a great, trustworthy sitter. Knowing she has a history of rescues, meant that I knew she would do a fantastic job balancing my rescue Boss’ needs and his quirks. She updated me often on his vacation and I could tell Boss was enamoured by her! Great sitter, would recommend 💕

I live alone in a calm and quiet one bedroom apartment (no balcony) that is completely doggie-proofed, with plenty of dog beds to choose from. There are minimal visitors, and I have a doggie gate if I need to block off a section of the apartment.

A typical day
Calm downtime mixed with long walks in the area, including Cedarvale ravine (weather permitting). Belly rubs and lots of kisses and love are always on the agenda. I have plenty of enrichment toys, games, treat and chew sticks on hand to keep them occupied and mentally stimulated.

Availability
I work from home Monday-Friday so your dog will rarely be left alone. Our walk schedule is 3 walks/day, 15-45+ minutes each depending on weather. Throughout the day there is always some kind of doggie enrichment (snuffle mats, puzzles, bully sticks and chews, treat balls). My resident dog Diesel has experience with many fosters and dogs we have sat, he is the most patient, gentle pal. He is respectful of boundaries if a dog needs time and space to feel comfortable. My senior gal Bella takes some time to warm up to doggie guests, so she stays elsewhere when I board dogs. We do not go to dog parks, no leash greetings with other dogs, and I do not off-leash dogs while they stay with me unless we are in a fully fenced and secure area (i.e. a backyard). Their safety and security is my highest concern. *A pre-stay meet & greet is required to ensure that your dog is a good energy match for Diesel*
