I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I’m smart, competent and responsible. I have experience owning a rescue dog with behavioral issues, so I am prepared to face any challenges your dog might present with patience and kindness. I am skilled at responding to what pets need, and making them comfortable while they spend time with someone new!

I like to know their likes and dislikes (treats, activities etc.), as well as any important health information I might need. I would also ask if there are any behavioral issues or just personality traits that would be important (if they’re shy, aggressive, outgoing; how they are on a leash).
A typical day
I love to take dogs for adventures! I live in Petworth and have spent a lot of time at the Columbia Heights dog park, but I also enjoy taking longer walks in rock creek park on the trails, and sometimes letting the dogs get some water play if that’s something they like!
