For the past two years, I've been living back at home so I can take care of my mom (she was sick, but is doing much better now). During much of this time, I was also taking care of Sam, my brother's German Shepard. Sam was pretty much my whole world and I fell in love with him. A few months ago, I gave Sam back to my brother, and I now have a huge dog sized hole in my heart. Since I've found myself with some free time (and deep seeded need for dog love), I've decided to open up my home to any good boys and girls who need a sitter! <3 I currently work part time from home and have a lots of free time. I have a large, fenced in back yard, and plenty of time for walks and ball throwing. There is even a small woodsy park about a mile from my house where we can walk to and play. My personal experience has mostly been with large dogs. Besides my brother's sweet aforementioned German Shepard, I grew up with 2 Great Danes, so I am comfortable with dogs of any size. I do not discriminate against breeds. I love pitbulls. <3 I do have one cat, and she is a bit iffy with some dogs, especially on the first meeting. However, if she doesn't feel comfortable, she just hides in one of the back rooms and ignores everyone. Please note: Overnights are considered approx. after 5pm - 11am the next morning. My pricing for overnight starts at 30 dollars PER NIGHT. If you drop off very early the first day or pick up very late the last day, I will have to charge a fee for daytime care as well. I am flexible with notice, but we can discuss that at the time of booking. ***When your dog stays with me*** : - They will always be supervised outside. Even though I have a fenced in yard, I dont leave them out there alone. - I send updates with pictures once or twice a day (or more if you'd like!) - We play, run around the backyard, and/or take walks daily to get an appropriate amount of exercise. - They have potty breaks every 1-2 hours. - I pay close attention their needs and personalities to make sure they are comfortable and happy while in my home. I like to think of it as a doggie vacation for them, so I tailor the day for what it seems like the dog enjoys best!
