Feel free to message to discuss availability! I’m 30 and I’ve had dogs all my life. We’ve had a Rottweiler/Lab mix, Yorkies, and a Lhasa mix. I’ve sat for and walked Labs, Beagles, and Shetlands as well, so I have experience with a variety of dogs. I’ve also sat for cats. *I have bearded dragons and can drop in to feed fish/reptiles/exotics as well* I love animals in general and understand the important of trust, interaction, feeding, play, and exercise that animals need when you’re away. I will be available to come check in on your pet while you’re away, where I can feed and play with them, or administer medication if needed (something I’ve done with my own dogs). I’ve walked bigger dogs and know the energy level that can be expected of them. You can expect your pets to have fun and be safe with me!

I have a cat and 2 bearded dragons. I grew up with dogs. I am somewhat familiar with emergency vets in NWI. I’ve given medication to dogs and reptiles orally and via shots. Safety is extremely important to me. I can read animal body language fairly well, especially with cats. Fenced yards are ideal for dogs but otherwise a leash is essential.

I love all breeds. I’d like to know if it’s a rescue and if it’s nervous around new people, any special needs (medicine, strict feeding times), if they are territorial around food, and their favorite toy. Same with cats! I can drop-in for exotics as well.
A typical day
Depending on where you live, dogs can be walked around the neighborhood or on a trail if anything is nearby. If your pet has a favorite route please let me know! We can play catch, with a laser pointer, tug of war, or if there’s another particular game your dog likes. I volunteer with cats and love playing with them as well.

Availability
I work full time so during the week, I can do quick drop-ins nearby. I try to volunteer on Saturdays for a couple hours, but I will still have availability for drop-ins and walks. Feel free to message me!
