Pups have been such a huge an important part of my life, so I just couldn’t possibly imagine it without them. They’re so full of love and selflessly give their happiness to us every day. I have 21+ years of dog training and expertise under my belt being involved with the AKC purebred dog world. I have an extensive network of dog trainers, groomers, vets, and handlers in California and in the US, and am about as active as can be in the dog community. In the last decade-and-a-half, I’ve developed a deep doggy expertise and have won over 150+ regional and national AKC awards. I have tons of experience with all sorts of dogs, from hound dogs, to working dogs, to sporting and non-sporting, to terriers and others! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! I love sending owners regular updates with lots of accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pooch and I are having together. I keep all lines of communication open, so you’ll never have trouble getting a hold of me in case any questions or concerns arise. I think it’s very important to make sure that I get a good idea of your pup’s schedules and regimens, as replicating those schedules is a great way for me to make your pup feel happy, healthy, and safe. I just like to know as much as I can about you and your pup! While I understand my rates are high, I pride myself with long-time (decades long), repeat clients outside of River and the highest quality Canine care. Rover is for fun.
