Pet care experience
I have been the designated “dog and cat aunt” for all my friends and family in the last year and I’ve loved every single minute of it. I will treat your pet with the love, care and attention he/she deserves and will follow all your rules! I’m currently not able to have one of my own but I love animals so much and love every chance I am able to spend with one :)

Anna was fantastic! We ended up needing a sitter somewhat last minute, so we stumbled across her profile- but now are so grateful because we plan to have her be our new dogsitter. She’s super sweet, communicative, and caring. I could tell that my dog Buddy was in great hands and seemed so comfortable at her place, which is so important when you’re leaving your pet somewhere overnight. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs a trusty sitter!
Anna was great! She was able to help watch my pup Stella last minute which was a huge help for me. She sent plenty of photos, was very communicative, and Stella seemed to have an amazing time!

I have a small one bedroom apartment but I live in a beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood where there are big pathways along the Hudson River for nice walks. There are also dog parks nearby where we can go to play around if the owner would like. My apartment building is also very dog and pet friendly (there are so many dog owners in our building that they even offer dog treats in the lobby). Regardless though I’ll make sure to do whatever the owner is comfortable with - I know every pet’s needs are different. I also live with my fiancé who loves dogs and grew up with them :)

It would be helpful to know what the dog is like personality and energy wise ahead of time so I can adequately prepare. It would also be helpful to know what to avoid and focus on!
A typical day
I can play fetch, run around, go on very long walks, practice skills, etc. I am generally very flexible and can do whatever necessary to keep the dog happy!

Availability
I have to go into the office Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. I work from home Wednesday and Fridays and my weekends usually change around quite a bit depending on what plans I have going on. Generally speaking though, I’m very chill and enjoy long walks and relaxing at home. I don’t have a crazy hectic lifestyle so I can be flexible!
