Guiding Eyes Trained Dog Lover!
Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs all of my life; many different dogs have been through my home, with different dispositions and character. I worked training dogs with Guiding Eyes for the Blind for about 4 years. During this time, I raised puppies and taught them basic house manners, socialization, and how to walk and behave. I worked with dogs from 2 months to 2 years and have given them the skills needed to guide! I currently have two house dogs, a rescue and a yellow lab. I can handle dogs big and small. If requested, I can bring them to the Metroparks or beach for a break. If you have a younger dog I can also work with them on basic training during our time together. I would love to spend time helping to take care of your dog.

Anna was a great house sitter for our 9-year-old Boxweiler and 12-week-old golden. The pups had a blast going to the park and hanging with Anna all week. She asked ahead of time if it would be alright if her younger sister lent a hand, which we were absolutely cool with, as she was incredibly helpful and reliable as well! Plus, the girls left the house spotless when we returned - very trustworthy and reliable house sitter for pups of all ages and sizes!!

Anna has watched our boxer mix, George, multiple times. She is very good with him - he has lots of energy but she makes sure he walks and runs so he burns it all before coming back home.

Caring for pets is my first concern! I follow each client’s directions exactly and love when I am left with a list of important times and notes for their dog. I prefer having a meet and greet, especially if I will be house sitting the pup so I can have a good handle on where things are and each dog can meet me and get used to me. I also send updates to owners via text or the Rover app so you can stay in touch with your pets.

Breed, size and disposition will help me decide what activities to do. If your dog has a favorite park or toy or activity, let me know that as well. I don’t have any breed preferences! Any medications and their administration, food amounts and meal times, and the amount of times pets go out are also very important. During house stays I request that notes be left to make sure I do not forget anything!
A typical day
I often take my dogs to the Metroparks, Rocky River beach, and Wendy Island to go swimming. I love to play fetch and take the dogs on car rides, if allowed. If the dog is more relaxed or older, I am also okay with staying home and giving them some company.

Availability
I work three part time jobs including Rover! During the week, this typically entails me being gone in three mornings in the week from 6-2:30. At night I work as a hostess and shifts last 4-6 hours, although I only do this twice a week. Before requesting a booking, please ensure your pup is okay to be alone for that long!
