Pet care experience
I have had several varieties of dogs my whole life, and am currently fortunate to be a mom of three amazing pups. I would own 5-6 dogs if I could, so dog sitting gives me a piece of that dream, while also keeping the human part of my family happy😉. I began officially caring for dogs, outside of my own, two years ago. I have a Pet Sitting Certificate and have been on Rover for the past 10 months. In addition to Rover, I operate a small dog care business that is licensed and insured. I love everything about this type of work, and most especially, all of the fabulous dogs and pet parents I have gotten to meet and connect with. I would be honored to care for your loved ones while you are away, and they will be treated as a member of my family. My top priorities are your peace of mind, as well as the safety and comfort of your loved ones. I love this part of my life and also take it very seriously.

Anna was great! Communicated with me, let me see where my dogs would be housed, eat, sleep, etc. Very warm and friendly. When I left, we chatted daily with updates. She was upfront, honest, and went out of her way to help accommodate me as well. My dogs came back exhausted from all the play they had, and have been extremely happy pups. Absolutely coming back.
Anna was wonderful, and my pup had a blast at his first slumber-party!

I have a fenced yard, a dog door, a professionally installed pet gate, and three friendly dogs for your fur baby to play with. The dogs are the center of the home and their needs are my focus. My backyard is like a mini dog park, where the pups get lots of exercise by running and playing around together. I always separate everyone during mealtimes. For bedtime, I’m flexible and accommodate each pup’s preference. My pups are in my room, and there’s always room for more:). If they prefer a kennel, I have those as well. Even with a household full of furry friends, the home environment is calm, clean and structured. I take pride in providing a healthy, safe and nurturing environment.

I am accommodating and want them to feel safe, secure and loved. To help with any worries, I always send lots of photos and videos during the day. There’s also the option of video chat. Please let me know what you need.
A typical day
The pups and I love to play in the backyard, take walks around the park in our neighborhood, play fetch, discover new toys, and most importantly, share lots of love. We have a large park behind our home, which also has a dog park. There is also a green belt on my street. It’s a great home, yard and neighborhood for your furry family member!

Availability
I am a master’s level professional social worker with a hybrid schedule. My position affords me the flexibility to board and care for your pups during the day, evenings, and weekends. Once I retire from the counseling and social work field, my plan is to fully focus on my dog sitting business. For daycare services, I can take 3-4 additional friendly pups, and for boarding, I can take 2 additional pups at a time (3 if they are in the same family). During longer visits, some pups may overlap briefly. Pups that do best in my care tend to be those who are pretty comfortable around other dogs and humans. I have cared for several dogs that have never been away from home, and the experiences have been very positive. I’m patient and know they need some extra time to warm up.
