Pet care experience
I've been caring for dogs virtually my entire life: growing up with my own, then serving as my friends’/coworkers’ go-to sitter for the past 5 years — so I’m very comfortable with dogs, and they always seem to be comfortable with me. I have experience caring for a wide range of breeds and sizes: Labs/Retrievers, Maltese, Weimaraner, Pit Bulls, terriers, French bulldogs, Chihuahuas, Cocker Spaniel, Border Collies... just to name a few! I'm responsible, patient, and a big believer in continually developing good behavior with positive reinforcement. My most recent dog-sitting stint lasted for 5 months — while my friend was out of the country, I cared for her anxious little pup like she was my own. So now that I’m an empty-nester, I’m ready for more!

Hi. This was my first time using both Rover and Anna B. I was really nervous because I needed a sitter ASAP and was searching Yelp like crazy and dog boarding. I am so glad I used Rover because it helped me find Anna B. It was so easy to communicate via text and app messaging to say hi and get introductions. I was worried that she may not be available to dog sit under short notice but she did! We did a quick meet and greet so she could meet my dog, cat, get the house key, dog food, etc. I can't believe how much my dog liked her from the first second. I knew from the first second of seeing them together that this was magic. We left for our 4 day trip and Anna was great texting to reconfirm everything and sending us daily text and photos. We hired her to walk our dog and feed him 2x a day. Everything went smooth and we managed to enjoy our trip without any stress. Anna is my go to dog sitter for Champion and I hope others use her too. She didn't have too many reviews but I am glad I trusted my instincts and seeing her photos with her dog, you can tell she loves animals and being a pet sitter/walker. Anna is one of the most responsible and loving people I know - and those characteristics extend to both people AND dogs. I've never met someone that loves dogs as much as she does, or someone that will go quite so far out of their way to spend time with a dog, even if it's a stranger's on the street. She knows how to interact with them, and appreciates them far beyond most long-term owners that I've met. You couldn't leave your pooch in better hands.

If at my place, my apartment complex is extremely dog-friendly and has a dog park with which I’m very familiar. Depending on your preference and dog’s socialization, I can walk them around the neighborhood and take them to the park to allow them to play and get out some more energy.
