Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm Anna, a dog walker here on Rover with plenty of experience dog walking, both professionally (1+ years) and personally (10+ years). I would love help you take care of your dog when you're occupied with your busy day-to-day and am currently available until October for walks. I have an excellent knowledge of the paths in and around the Sherwood area to keep your dog active and occupied as I have lived in the area my whole life, where I have loved walking my own chocolate Labrador (named Chunk - like a chunk of chocolate!), as well as my mama's cute Yorkshire Terrier. Dogs have always been in my family so I have plenty of experience with dog-handling and I also have some experience teaching dogs simple commands.

Anna has always loved being with Chunk our labrador. She has looked after him on numerous occasions when we have been away and has made sure that Chunk is well looked after physically and emotionally. Chunk has problems with his ears and Anna has been able to administer cleaning solutions and medications into his ears with no problem, even though Chunk really doesn't like it. Anna loves a good walk which is ideal for our big lab as he needs the exercise. Chunk is a fairly well trained dog and Anna has not undone any of that training and stuck to whatever commands she knows work for him and helped maintain them. I would not hesitate to recommend Anna for any dog sitting/walking post.

I am very happy to drop-in and care for your dog in your own home if that is what you require - as someone who has passed criminal record checks recently to work with children, I can reassure you of my genuineness. For dog walking during the daytime or evening I will keep your dog on the lead, unless you tell me I can otherwise, to keep your pet as safe as possible. I cannot do pet-sitting in my own home.

So your dog gets the most out their time with me, please let me know any special requirements your pet may have, such as allergies, whether they like meeting other dogs and personality traits you think I should be aware of - I only want the best for your dog! Well-behaved dogs are preferred but I am capable of handling the little tricksters as well, as long as you inform me of their needs and behaviours.
A typical day
I love walking and keeping fit - and what better than to do it with a fluffy companion? I know the Edwinstowe area well and will take your dog on adventures both round the estates and off the beaten path. If pet-sitting in your home, I will keep them company by playing games and walking to let out their energy, having cuddles if your dog likes them and some downtime to relax.
