Pet care experience
This past summer I was able to work at a veterinary clinic full time and see a range of different animals and what it takes to care for them. Previously I took care of dogs in my hometown. I have experienced being around dogs with different temperaments, energy levels and ages. My family had adopted a dog a year ago, but unfortunately he had temperamental issues and was very territorial. Before that I had never had a true experience with an aggressive dog, but we were able to learn his boundaries and helped train him to make sure his active mind was stimulated throughout the day.

To whom it may concern, I've known and been a neighbor to Anna Burns for a very long time. When ever I am traveling or unable to get home, I feel comfortable knowing Anna is a phone call away. I have 2 dogs, an Akita mix and a Miniature Italian Greyhound. I could have her go down and feed the dogs and take them for walks. She always treated them well and they are always excited to see her. She cares for and walks other dogs in my neighborhood and she has always done a very good job. She really likes dogs and knows how to properly care for them. Her father is a veterinarian and she has spent her summers working for him and with dogs and other animals. I can easily crate a pet, also I would be able to give medication and if they have any special accommodations I can handle those as well.

I will take them on long walks around the neighborhood and give them ample time to sniff. I will also play with the dog and have ample exercise.

I currently am going to school full time. I am more available at night and mornings for pet care, but also willing to come in between my classes during the day as needed.
