Pet care experience
My involvement around animals began in 2018, while volunteering for the IndyHumane. Although I had a dog of my own at the time, it was the very first time I was thrown into a position of trust and care with those who have been given the very opposite. To say it was the most rewarding job, would be an understatement. Once COVID began in 2020, I made the decision to enroll in pet grooming classes. I was able to dive even further into breeds from there - their behaviors, standards, etc. I was absolutely fascinated. Even now, I am still looking for ways to gain even more knowledge on dogs. Growing up, I've had many breeds of my own. At the moment, I have four - Luna (Husky), Maize (Golden Retriever), Millie (German Shepherd), and Moose (Golden Retriever). I, of course, have a wishlist for the future!

Anna was a fantastic sitter! Our dogs loved her and she took great care of them! She kept in contact and sent photo and video updates too! She stayed at our home with the dogs and left the home in cleaner condition than she came into it. We will 100% request her again Thank you again Anna!

Having four high energy dogs, I understand the importance of mental stimulation, as well as exercise. Although mine would would love to stay outside all day if I allowed it, we enjoy taking them to enclosed fields and even on miles of walk/runs to give them some change in their day.

Being a mom to a misunderstood breed myself, I understand the importance of advocating for your dog. It’s important for me to understand triggers, dog specific body language cues, or reactivity your dog may have during our time together, without judgement!

I enjoy training to further and even freshen skills, as well as building confidence. I believe mental stimulation is just as, if not even more important, as physical!
