Pet care experience
My husband Chris and I have owned pets all our lives (from dogs and cats to horses and tortoises) and, as we currently don't have any pets of our own, we're looking to meet some local furry friends. We live in a house with a fenced off garden and are within minutes of a lovely area for walks (we don't even need to cross the road to get there!).
Reviews
Our dog piglet had the best time with Anna, she didn't want to leave! Anna was really relaxed and happy to fit in around piglets normal routines (lots of cuddles on the sofa). We will definitely book again :)
Anna was so welcoming with Max who is a nervous dog, he seemed to have enjoyed his stay, he had all his home comforts.
Cocoa had a good time with Emma who clearly loves dogs. She sent me photos of Cocoa who looked fully relaxed so she must have been happy
We couldn’t be happier, it was the first time we left Simba with anyone, Anna took all our worries away during the pre-meet. Simba had a brilliant time and it was like home from home for him. The daily updates were brilliant, pictures attached helped too. Highly recommend using Anna and her partner, we certainly will be again.

Information Anna A. would like to know about your pet
We've had so many different dogs stay with us over the years. Small breeds, big breeds, female, male, neutered, not neutered, females on heat, puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with anxiety issues, dogs taking medication, dogs with hearing impairments, rescue dogs, dogs with strict diets and allergies, high-energy dogs, dogs who don't want to be walked and prefer to be carried, crate trained dogs, dogs who are allowed on the furniture, dogs who aren't... and to be honest we've loved every one of them. We've been extremely fortunate that all the dogs that have stayed with us so far have been well behaved, house trained, lovely animals who have not only settled in very quickly but seemingly have really enjoyed their stay with us. With so much experience with all these different types of dogs by now, we feel very comfortable with most any dog staying with us and have thoroughly enjoyed our dog-sitting journey so far.
A typical day
We of course adapt to the routine of each of the dogs staying with us but typically the day would start with either a quick walk or being let out into the garden so our furry friend can relieve themselves, breakfast and some chill time while we get some work done (from home and only during the week). We usually set up the dogbeds near our working stations so they've always got company and we can sneak some cuddles between emails (if the dog is small enough and happy to, they usually snooze on our laps while we work). At lunchtime, we would go for a long walk around the woods and lakes in Hitchingbrooke Park to make sure they get their much needed daily exercise. Then back home to eventually end the day with dinner and cuddles on the sofa in front of the TV, and maybe another quick walk before bed. We don't work weekends so we would sometimes take a walk down to our local dog-friendly cafe where they have freshly made treats for us and the doggies and, if the weather's good, we'll find a spot in the garden to do some sunbathing with our furry friend. This is of course very general and we're really flexible when it comes to adapting to your dogs needs and routine! We also tend to send the owners at least daily photos of their pets so they are reassured that they're safe and happy.

Availability
I am currently only in the office two days a week and my husband only one day a week and, when we have a doggie friend stay with us for longer periods of time, we alternate days to ensure that one of us is always home so your pet is never home alone and that we always have lots of time to give them all the attention they need. We will do everything we can to make sure your family member is taken really well care of. If you have any questions, please just let me know!
