Experienced and loving dog sitter
Pet care experience
Aside from caring for my own dogs and dogs of friends and family members, I've fostered dogs with The Humane Society for years. I received training and education from The Humane Society to ensure that I was well equipped to take in new dogs and make them comfortable in my home for the duration of the fostering period. I took in all different types of dogs from small nervous chihuahuas to rambunctious huskies and every size and temperament in between. I loved and cared for them like they were my own. Because of my fostering experience, I've learned how to quickly win over a nervous or scared dog.
Reviews
Ann was absolutely fantastic with our Koko! Her patience, kindness, and understanding truly made a difference. I felt confident and reassured knowing that my furry friend was in such capable hands. I will definitely be booking with Ann whenever she's available. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a caring and skilled pet caregiver!"
Ann was as sweet as could be and took great care of our pup for a week! We were gone over Christmas and she even gave our pup a little stocking with some treats and toys. Ann’s property is great for dogs to explore and she has two other dogs to play with. Ann was very quick and easy to communicate with. We will absolutely call her for dog sitting again!
Ann was very flexible and responsive and clearly an animal lover. Our dog came back home safe and exhausted from all the fun with Ann’s two dogs. Will definitely be using her services again!
I've known Ann for several years and have always been amazed at the dedication and love she has for animals. Not only for her own, but also for the several foster animals that needed her help in healing and growing to find a home. Ann goes above and beyond with any animal that she has the opportunity to mee. She has an ability to understand their unique needs, as well as enjoying and loving each of their own unique personalities. Not only does she ensure that their basic needs are met, but that they're cherished along the way. Trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, but with Ann I have full confidence in saying that your baby will be in the best of hands.

I live on a 2.5 acre property. A large portion around my house is completely fenced so your dog can run freely! If your dog isn't the out doorsy type, that's ok too, there's always room to play inside as well. In the evenings, I can take your dog for a walk. I live in a peaceful area away from main roads surrounded by nature so walks are nice and safe for your dog here. At bedtime, your dog sleeps in the guest room I have set aside for dog sitting, either in their crate or on their dog bed. If this doesn't work for your dog, we can always talk about what works best for your dog and see if I can accommodate a different sleeping arrangement for your dog.

Information Ann T. would like to know about your pet
I'll want to know if your dog has separation anxiety so I can make a nice, safe space for them. While I will be home most of the time, I won't be home 24/7. Let me know if your dog has any special needs.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes exploring my 2.5 acre property filled with all sorts of plants and trees. Playing with toys, and walking around the quiet neighborhood. If your dog gets along well with other dogs, they can definitely play with my dogs too. If your dog isn't quite as active, we can also keep it low key and play inside. While I'm working in my home office from 8-4, they can sit with me, if they are relatively quiet. I'll always take them out for frequent potty/exercise breaks during the day and give them plenty of love and attention!

Availability
I have a flexible job where I work from my home office so I'm always around during the days. I can leave my office frequently to let out any dogs I watch. Often the dogs like to sit with me while I work. Occasionally, I'll bring my laptop outside in the backyard and work while watching the dogs play outside. Sometimes I'll leave for a few hours in the evenings but I'll never leave the dogs alone more than a few hours and they will always be in a safe environment.
