Pet care experience
Every dog or cat has her own personality, quirks, and needs. I've had pets my whole life and people say I'm a dog whisperer. I'm not really....I just understand what motivates them (treats, love, or praise) and I work with that. My dogs and cats were always like family and I treat other people's pets like family. I worry about mine when I'm away, so I want people to know that I understand those feelings and that their pets are in good hands. I've also had rodents and reptiles, so I can watch after them too. I want to do this simply because I love animals. I also love to exercise, so this is perfect for me. Socialization with new people is mentally beneficial for pets too.

Ann did a wonderful job with Lucy and came a few days before to meet and greet. Send cute pictures of walk and playtime. Would definitely recommend!
Ann did fantastically well with Pappy and Girlie. We received photos for every visit and both pups seemed to take to Ann like an old friend. Both dogs and cat were well groomed and taken care of. Ann is selective for whom she chooses to sit and takes the time to assess the situation to ensure a good fit. We highly recommend Ann and thank her for giving our animal gang all the love and attention while we were gone!
Ann is one of the most responsible, nurturing, loving pet owners I've ever known. While she has an affinity for dogs, she has been a parent to a wide variety of animals and has provided them all the highest level of respect and care. A dog or cat in her care would be lucky to have her. If I had to pick one person on the planet to entrust my own pets, it would be Ann, without question.

I'm not boarding at this time. As far as caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your instructions implicitly. When I have others take care of my own dog and they don't follow my requests, it drives me nuts!

A typical day
I will take your dogs where ever you'd like. I can do neighborhoods, or somewhere fun like park point for a walk and swim. They can go to a dog park or lake walk if they are social. If they are seniors and just want to roll around in some soft grass, perfect. Whatever suits you and them. I can most easily drop in before 9 a.m., around lunch and after 4 p.m. during the week, but can also work around my schedule depending on your request. Any time on weekends.

I'm currently working from home, so I can accept drop-in's throughout out the day most times, along with vacation days and weekends if I'm in town or not in a virtual meeting . So I,m pretty flexible to a point. I realize my day day job might limit my appointments through Rover, but I want to be clear/honest with expectations.
