I grew up with and have had dogs my whole life. I love dogs and other animals. Dogs at the dog park love to say hi to me. I have only done dog sitting for family members so far, but we always have a good time. My skills include being able to work with and being comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs, being able to identify behaviors in dogs, understanding how to treat dogs that are shy, hyper, or aggressive, being able to let dogs know when they are doing an unfavorable behavior simply by making a noise, and remaining calm in stressful situations. I am taking a course to get certified as a veterinary assistant and am working towards a career in rehabilitation and conservation of animals. I also volunteer with a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center.
