Pet care experience
Hello everyone! My name is Anna, and I am a future Animal Services Officer and animal lover, looking forward to meeting your pets! I have about 10 years of personal experience working with all kinds of animals. I am comfortable with working with special-needs dogs such as my Grandmas 15 year old dog Misia, who is deaf and blind. I also regularly pet-sit my uncle’s dog Raven (the German shepherd mix in the photos) who has social anxiety. I also have plenty of experience working with cats beyond pet sitting for my neighbors. I have been volunteering with Peel Animal, Rescue Society for about a year now, which has given me lots of experience working with cats of all temperaments, especially feral/shadow cats. I also fostered my own cat Nebula when she was two weeks old and very sick. It was a difficult journey, but she’s grown up to be a beautiful, healthy, and chaotic girl! I absolutely love working with animals, and it is my dream to make a career out of working with them. Ann Marie was AWESOME! We were happy to receive a detailed report and many pictures after each visit. As our cat is newly adopted, she tried different games to get her to play and shared with us a few tips and tricks. She even spent extra time one day, as there was a concern with our cat. Ann Marie was absolutely spectacular dropping in to see my cat Nacho! He seemed to love her and the pictures and reviews she sent were always adorable 🥰 I would definitely rebook with her as she made me way less stressed about leaving Nacho while I travel and I am so grateful to her for all her work!
We had Ann Marie take care of my cat Bocco when we were away for 4 nights, and were absolutely happy with the service. Ann Marie understands Bocco really well just after the first few visits and my cat liked her instantly. She made sure that the cat had plenty of play time as he really likes interacting with human. I will definitely have Ann Marie take care of Bocco again in the future. Thank you!
Anna was amazing with our two dogs - taking them on long walks and giving them lots of playtime in the backyard (including her large backyard!) and taking them along on a hike. She provided lots of daily updates and spoiled them to no end! She also cleaned up after herself in our home and washed all bed linen and towels she used before she left. We will definitely be reaching out to her again next time we need a dog sitter. Thank you Anna! The pups miss you already

I am unable to board the dogs, but some exceptions may apply to cats and small animals. In terms of walks and drop in visits, I will make sure to follow all instructions, not overstep boundaries, and only do what is to your comfort level

I will need to know ahead of time. If your pet takes any medication’s, has any special needs, or any specific care instructions. I would also like to meet with all pet owners before bookings are confirmed to ensure that you are comfortable with me, taking care of your furry friends, and that they are OK with my presence.
A typical day
My standard service is taking your dogs on a walk around the neighborhood. Being walked my new person can be stressful enough, so staying at a familiar place will help to keep them comfortable. I can also play with them and their favorite toys after walks. If your dog is obedient and well behaved, I can gladly take them to the dog park. I also have a 14-year-old brother who loves animals just as much as I do, and he will accompany me on some walks only if you are OK with it When it comes to cats, I will always do more than just drop in, feed them, and leave. I will do my best to play with them, although I know from experience, some cats are either shy around new people, or just don’t like to play. In those cases, I will always sit with your pet, and talk to them from whatever distance makes them comfortable in order to reinforce that they are in a safe environment, and still get some socialization.

Availability
I work part time and I’m available most days in the morning and in the evening. Due to my mom’s work schedule, I am unable to board dogs, but exceptions might be able to be made for cats and small animals.
