Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m a life long lover of dogs of all sizes. I grew up with basset hounds and currently have a 1 1/2 year old named Bonnie. She loves making new friends and getting zoomie’s at the dog beach! Bonnie and I are recent transplants from New York City and just drove across the country together, which bonded us even more. In addition to my Bonnie, I’ve spent time volunteering at the Humane Society in Washington, DC at their spay and neuter clinic and was a foster mom for kittens. I love having the chance to introduce my pup to new people and dogs!

I've known Ann for many years, and she's always been a very responsible and capable pet owner and pet sitter. She's great with her family's basset hound, Hoover, and has raised her basset Bonnie from a puppy, so she has experience with puppies as well as adult dogs. She's taken care of my pets many times when I've been away, including my cats and my crazy and rambunctious pitbull mix (not an easy task!). I trust her with my pets completely, and have witnessed how good she is with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
Ann has an obvious genuine love of animals, whether they’re her own or otherwise. I’ve seen the care & attention she gives to her dog Bonnie and in the past she has looked after my cats as well.
Ann was a prize foster in a large scale foster program in Arlington, VA. I ran and still run this program. She is conscientious and intuitive and has a true love of animals. Highly recommend.
Ann has had a lot of experience with animals. In addition to growing up with dogs and feeding and walking them for vacationing neighbors, she did an internship with the spay/ neuter clinic for dogs and cats at the Washington, DC Humane Alliance. During the pandemic she took care of our basset hound Hoover for three months taking him for walks and sending us pictures daily to keep us up to date. Ann became the owner of her own basset, Bonnie, a little over a year ago. Bonnie is a happy, sweet pup who enjoys going to the park and the beach.
