Pet care experience
My dog is a nervous rescue so I understand dogs that require a bit more patience and kindness, especially with new people. I'm home all the time if you want them to be left with me, and I'm happy to travel with my dog if you would prefer I come to you. My dog is pretty chill and loves the company of other dogs, she's a bit weary of strangers so if we do a meet and greet don't be surprised if she shys away from you.

I worked very hard with a behaviourist when I rescued my dog to create a safe environment for her. I have installed 6ft tall fences outside, keep the garden clean and tidy, and keep things out of reach of inquisitive pups. I will always be with them in the garden and offer regular wee-breaks. Sadie does not use a crate for reasons of her rescue but if you're pup requires a crate please bring that with you and I will set it up in my living area for them.

Information Anjuli S. would like to know about your pet
I will need to know in advance if there are any destructive issues so I can hide my dogs toys and also move items from low shelves etc. While I have had no experience administering medications if you are willing to show me I can let you know if I am comfortable doing this for your dog. Any routines, special instructions etc should be discussed at a meet and greet before any boarding etc. I'm very happy to do this before a boarding so just ask. I'm very experienced with dogs of a more nervous disposition. My house is quiet and calm and I give dogs space when they need it to settle. Also I should say I cannot house sit if you have cats as I'm very allergic to them.
A typical day
At weekends we often go out in my campervan to the Peak District to explore. During the week we head out to local parks and walking areas during the day as well as indoor play and scent work.

Availability
I'm at home all the time so I'm with my dog 24/7. We do often go out exploring in my campervan and I am happy to take your pup out with us on our adventures if you want. Please let me know if they are not a fan of being in a vehicle. Sadie has a pretty loose schedule but we do at least one walk a day and she eats breakfast and dinner with me. If your pup requires a stricter routine let me know and I'll stick to it for them. There are a couple of walks closer by we go on regularly that are within walking distance of my house. There are a few trips like Newstead Abbey and the Kirkby nature reserve that require that I drive us there. They are great for exciting sniffy walks though.
