Hey there, my name is Anjilique and I’m currently in college studying to earn my Bachelor's degree! I have had many pets (including but not limited to small/large dogs, small/large cats, hamsters, ducks, fish etc.) so I understand the importance in finding someone trustworthy to take care of your fur babies while you’re away. I enjoy being active, can communicate updates as often as you'd like, and I pay great attention to detail in every situation. I have taken care of both young and older animals and have experience grooming animals as well as giving oral medications. Anjillique was great for three nights staying in our home with our pup! She came for a meet and greet ahead of time, was very kind, and sent lots of updates and pictures!
Anjilique was amazing! She took great care of my golden retriever and our chihuahua puppy, she was awesome with updates and very responsive ! Our golden is really high energy and was recovering from being spayed and Anjilique was very good at communicating when she needed medication/her behavior changes. Overall did a great job

I will always read your animals body language and let them lead in terms of how close or far they would like to be to me. Making the animal feel comfortable and safe as possible is my top priority. I have found that allowing the animal to sniff me lets them initiate the first physical contact and works to let them know I am not trying to invade on their space. This goes for high energy dogs as well in which remaining calm will help them calm down from their own excitement.

Although I do not have any breed preferences, I would love to know a little about your pet to help me provide them with the best possible experience. Do they enjoy a specific activity or treat? Do they have sneaky habits that I need to look out for? What is their favorite route around the block?
A typical day
I enjoy being outdoors and staying active so going on a light jog or playing a tug of war match with your dog would be no problem for me! I’m very enthusiastic around animals and get just as excited seeing them as they may be to see me!

Availability
I aim to keep my availability as up to date as possible and greatly appreciate requests sent at least one week in advance! However, if you are short on time feel free to reach out anyway because my schedule does not change too much week to week. My schedule looks like: I have class Monday-Thursday with plenty of time in between classes to check in on/feed/let out your animal(s) (: Friday-Sunday I work 5:30AM-6:00PM, which I understand are long hours but I am still open to booking overnight stays on the weekends so long as your animal can be alone for up to 12 hrs.
