Pet care experience
My family has always owned dogs & cats and I have never been without a dog as a pet my entire life. Since I was 12 I was training my dogs to do special tricks no matter how much of an old dog they were! I have worked at a grooming/boarding facility as well as a veterinarian assistant at an animal hospital for a few years. As a VET assistant I was in charge of the animals boarding in our kennels, and helping prep for surgeries, as well as routine appointments. I have no fear of any dog breed or size, and can handle just about any dog! I am a stickler on communication and will always let you know every detail that you need about your fur kids during my visits.

I am more than capable of taking your dog on long walks or supervising them while outside in your fenced yard playing. I will always make sure their environment is safe and their food/water situation is always clean and full. If your dog is required to be crated I will always make sure and double check that before I leave that they are safe in their kennel or designated room. If you follow strict rules/manners that your dog has to follow, I will make sure that I uphold them to the best of my ability as if you were the one taking care of your pet. I will always communicate with you when needed and make sure you are aware of how your pet is. If you’re super worried about your pet, I do not mind communicating with you however long during my visit with your pet. I will always want you to feel 100% comfortable while I make sure your pet is taken care of.

Let me know if your dog has any reactivity or aggression issues so I can prepare for these situations and make sure we both succeed while together. Please let me know if they are escape artists or what their favorite thing to do is and how they are expected to behave while I am watching them and taking them out for walks.
A typical day
I enjoy taking a dog on hikes, long walks to the park, or around the neighborhood. I also do not mind teaching commands or helping stimulate the dogs mind while on walks by asking them to do commands they already know or teaching them new ones. I love when a dog enjoys a good game of fetch or even just hanging out and them just having a quiet companion with them.

Availability
I currently do not work, as my husband works full time on the road and I travel with him and our three dogs. I do not have a set schedule and am very easy to work with! I do have a 10 month old that I will have to bring with me most of the time. So please let me know if your pup is kid friendly or not so that way I can better prepare for the visit!
