Since I was 18, I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. I love pampering the furry friends I interact with through walks, baths, active play, cuddles, healthy treats that are catered to their dietary needs, and positive affirmation. Safety and the happiness of the pet is my first and foremost priority. I am an attentive, empathic, and flexible caregiver- I really listen to pet-owners and pets and work with what they need. As a highly physically active individual, I can keep up with even the most energetic of pets. Animals give me joy and energy and I love each and every one as if they were my own. I also have special experience serving senior pets and their unique needs, including incontinence care, frequent medication, and dietary adjustments. Lastly, I exhibit a keen attention to detail and healthy sense of urgency that allows me to tackle any situation. I would be honored to care for your pet and look forward to doing so!

I have a pet-friendly apartment unit with a generous balcony, open space, and natural light. I have appropriate enclosures (gates) that can give your pet the space to play while keeping them away from any hazards and keeping them in a familiar area. I am experienced at crate training and can accommodate any and all routines you have set up with your pet. I have worked in many home settings over the years, so that would an experience that I am familiar and comfortable with.

I need to know of all vaccinations that the dog has received, and medications that need to be administered, any allergies/dietary restrictions, any behavioral quirks (ex. leash aggression), and any preferred routines. Lastly, I would also love to know what delights your pet- toys, treats, back scratches, you name it.
A typical day
I love spending time with your pet(s)! We will sit on my couch together and enjoy some cuddles (as long as your pet enjoys touch), play with some pet puzzles, and get some exercise together (walks/frisbee tossing/fetch/etc. I would love to treat your pet to some high-quality treats, hydration breaks, a relaxing bath, and a comfortable space to nap as needed. The safety, well-being, and happiness of your pet is my first and foremost priority in everything I do.

Availability
I work from home part-time 4/5 days of the week, so I am absolutely available to be fully engaged with your furry loved one. I only commit to appointments where 100% of my time and attention can be devoted to the animal in question. My home is pet-proofed, safe, and geared towards your pet.
